The League of Angels announce the European launch with the first event in Monaco. The League Continues to support and attract European investors interested in British investments.
The League of Angels (“the League”), the UK investment society established to provide a platform and community for angel investors who would usually operate alone, is pleased to announce that it held its inaugural Monaco event in conjunction with the Monaco Venture Capital Association (MVCA) on 28th March 2019.
The League, which launched its Brexit manifesto in February with an invitation only event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea London, attended by League Patron, His Royal Highness HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, KStJ, CD, as well as UK government representatives and 200 plus investors and business people, has also recently established its Yorkshire branch with Keith Madeley as the official Yorkshire ambassador.
Monaco is home to a large number of investors and HNWIs which makes it a key area of interest for the League. The League has the ability to showcase the best of British business to a global audience and importantly, League events allow investors and key decision makers to meet with business owners, an essential part of the investment process, but one that is often lost in as the economy becomes increasingly digitised. The League has an experienced team, led by CEO Barney Battles who focuses on providing members with quality deal flow and entrepreneurs with access to capital to accelerate their business growth.
While this event is the first in Monaco, the League has already planned for further events to take place during the year in the City State, and are particularly excited about the League’s VIP Hospitality package at the 77th Monaco F1 Grand Prix that will take place in May of this year.
Barney Battles, CEO of the League of Angels commented:
“We are excited about our first Monaco event being held today in conjunction with the MVCA who we believe share the same vision and values as the League.
“In an increasingly digital and online environment face to face interaction is incredibly valuable and holding events around the globe allows League members to access a number of exciting British business owners and entrepreneurs. In a post-Brexit environment it is also particularly important that organisations like ourselves provide a link between British business and European investors.
“As we continue to evolve and grow, we would like to expand to include other locations around Europe and in regional areas of Britain.”
