The League of Angels welcomed its members and guests to the regal halls of The In & Out, Naval and Military Club in St Jame’s Square, London.
After the customary champagne and introductions, the group were welcomed and the pitches introduced by The League founder, Barney Battles.
Nino Judge showed the attendees how his company, Fly Pop, are going to approach the budget long haul market with an innovative strategy. Over starters The League and guests had great questions to test the model of Fly Pop and gave great feedback to its presenter and founder.
Once the starters were cleared it was time for Cudo Venture’s founder, Matt Hawkins, to tell us how they are going to help people turn their PCs into a world wide web of computing power and revenue generator for companies and individuals. The Cudo Ventures team answered probing questions around security, competition and the future of shared computing.
Following the main course, Giles Watling MP gave a briefing on the current direction of Brexit, his time in film, television and theatre. Mr. Watling then challenged the people around the table to focus on making the creative arts and screen a priority. “This industry should be treated with high regards both from investors and the government when it comes to tax advantages.”
After the thought-provoking and humorous presentation from our esteemed MP, B.D. Dalton of The League gave the vote of thanks and discussed the upcoming events in the U.K., Monaco and Malta. The meeting adjourned and a number of guests carried on discussing business and socialising while listening to music on a tour of select London venues until
